Description

Rehlko D330 Revit family, a 3D parametric model of the D330 diesel generating set (Rehlko, formerly Kohler SDMO) in the M237 acoustic weatherproof enclosure. Overall size 4100 x 1410 x 2147 mm.

The envelope, not the engine. What you place in a plant room, or on a roof slab is a box with an air inlet, a discharge and a load path. That is what this family includes: the published external dimensions and the published dry and operating mass, so the spatial coordination and the structural check work off the same model.

Generating sets housed in the M237

M237 is a factory installed enclosure, not a generating set model. Rehlko lists it against seven sets, all on the same Hyundai (formerly Doosan) P126TI or P126TI-II engine, all with the same 423 litre frame tank, all in the same 4100 x 1410 x 2147 mm envelope. One enclosure, seven ratings.

Dimensions and weights

This family models the standard M237. The M237-DW is a different envelope: 52 mm longer, 214 mm taller, with a 1041 litre double wall tank in place of the 423 litre tank. If the specification is for the DW version, this is not the box you want on the drawing.

Operating mass with the frame tank filled is 3583 kg, 3701 kg or 3825 kg depending on the alternator build, plus or minus 5%. Rehlko publishes centre of gravity data for each build, dry and wet, which is what the structural engineer will ask for when the set sits on a slab, a plinth or a roof.

Acoustic data

Rehlko states the M237 soundproofed version as not compliant with the 2000/14/EC noise emissions Directive. Check that against the placement before the location is fixed.

Before you place it

Two things are not in the datasheet. Ventilation and acoustic attenuation are separate from the enclosure, and the M237 figures above are free field values. Maintenance and door swing clearances are project specific, so set them from the manufacturer drawing, not from the box.
