ISO 21500 describes guidelines for managing projects and processes in project management, including standards, methods, and processes. The standard is intended to align with related international standards such as ISO 10006:2003. For Total Quality Management (TQM) system organisations are required to refer to ISO 9000 for the quality management of products, processes, systems and services, and the requirements for the management and quality control of projects.
