How to size cable tray
A tray can pass on width and still be wrong. Table 4C1 gives four different grouping factors for four different arrangements of the same six circuits; the fault force on the cleats is set by the current at the tray and its peak factor, not the device rating; and every run on a multi-service bracket lands on the same two rods. The four checks to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026, BS EN 61914 and BS 8519:2020, worked.
